We are offering three courses

THE THOUGHTFUL PITCH 

Weekly mindfulness and golf workshops are commencing 4 September 2020 through to June 2021. These workshops combine mindfulness techniques for focussing, building self-belief using breathe to de-stress and applying these to learn how to chip and pitch a foam golf practice ball.

  • Venue: Beechmont Tennis Club, Beechmont 4211

  • Equipment: provided

  • Tea & Coffee: provided
  • Duration: 2 hours

  • Time: 10am to midday

  • Day: Friday (commencing 4 September and every week thereafter)
  • COVID restrictions observed

WOMEN’S 4 WEEK
INTRODUCTION TO GOLF

These workshops combine mindfulness techniques for focussing, building self-belief using breathe to de-stress and applying these to learn how to chip and pitch a foam golf practice ball.

  • Equipment: provided
  • Tea & Coffee: provided
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Time: midday to 1pm
  • Day: Wednesday – weekly for 4 weeks
  • COVID restrictions observed

MEN’S 4 WEEK
INTRODUCTION TO GOLF 

These workshops combine mindfulness techniques for focussing, building self-belief using breath to de-stress and applying these to learn how to chip and pitch a foam golf practice ball.

  • Day: Wednesday – weekly for 4 weeks

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

Each participant can expect to learn mindfulness skills and techniques in the first hour of the session. Each session will be dedicated to a different mindfulness technique ranging from “Breath work”, “Focussing”, “Inner confidence”, “Self belief”, “Visualising”, “positive judgment”, “being present” “crisis, what crisis”, “playing to win”, “calm”, “noticing”, “good habits”, “stress – less”, etc…

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING ALONG?

Each participant will need to wear:

  • Comfortable flat shoes (eg runners)
  • Comfortable and loose clothing (eg polo shirt or loose t-shirt)
  • Bring a light jacket or jumper for the first hour of the mindfulness indoor session
  • Wear a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses for the second hour of the session involving the outdoor golf activity

  • Bring a bottle of water. Hydration is super important.
